THE POINTS

KOINYRA

Serenity, crystal clear waters, and an unforgettable sunrise. Koinyra, on the island's eastern side, beckons visitors like the mythological Sirens, enticing them with its unique landscapes and excellent food. Our advice? If you listen to them, follow their calling!

SKALA MARIES

A small settlement in the southwest of the island, with three small bays, each with its own feature: Limanaki with its irresistible traditional fish taverns, Platana with its golden shore, and the beach of Atspa with its shallow turquoise waters.

FARI

Next to Skala Maries, there’s an unorganized beach where the gold of the rock and sand blends with the green of the pine trees and the sea. Accessing it may not be the easiest feat, but the scenery is spectacular, to say the least. Come equipped, and enjoy a full day in it, from morning to sunset!

KASTRO

The island’s oldest settlement - and thanks to its location, the best protected in the past from raiders and pirates. Located in the middle of Thassos, it is a village with a unique character that makes up for it if you decide to visit it - even for a simple stop and a coffee.

RACHONI

Another mountain destination that’s in the northwestern part of Thassos and 15 km from Limenas. The white houses, the red roofs, and the green landscape make a colorful, irresistible mosaic. If you find yourself there, visit the Assumption of Theotokos temple, with its tall plane trees and spring.

KALLIRACHI

As we leave the sandy shores for a while, we head up towards the mountainous side of Thassos. To the west, overlooking Kavala, lies Kallirachi. An off-the-beaten-path village with a peaceful tempo to enjoy, old houses, and an impressive traditional tavern in its square!
